This animated short was made for two reasons. One, to help learn Lightwave when the teachers couldn't help at all. This helped me learn volumetrics (flashlight), hypervoxels (liquid), string flexibility (fishing pole), and much more valuable tools needed. And second, to help me always remember how much bass fishing was part of my life. The peace and quiet while on the lake, topped with pure adrenaline the minute you get a bite was something I enjoyed almost every day of my life for many years.

I created this short to explain a fisherman’s normal routine from the moment he wakes up until he goes out fishing. Except while he’s getting ready, a fun little sotry is unfolding in the bedroom. I created this my first semester as a senior with Lightwave 7, just beginning to learn the software still.
